Yeti – Volume, Obliteration, Transcendence (CD)
The surviving members of YETI are back with close to an hours worth of new music. After losing their keycrusher Doug Ferguson to a Pancreatic infection in 2002, the remaining members have written all new material and have tracked 4 incredibly dark and dismal dirges. Musically still much in the vein of their first release "Things to Come" but far more angry and abusive to the senses, drawing influences from MAGMA and SHUB NIGGURATH to MAN IS THE BASTARD and BORIS. YETI continues to offer a heavier music combining the darker elements of jazz and rock forms. This new cd is packaged in a digi-pak, with all artwork created by David D-Andrea.
