We’re talking about massive riffs and killer grooves. These nine songs are monstrously heavy. Hell, one song has wolves howling in it. Wolves don’t howl for anyone, you know. The Sword doesn’t sacrifice groove for the sake of heaviness. It’s like the band was formed by four guys who dug BTO and Mountain as much as they did Iron Maiden and Metallica. For fans of High on Fire, Dozer, Tummler, and Mastodon.

HOLY SHIT!!! This album kicks fucking ass. It hasn't left my cd player since I got it. I probably listen to it 4 or 5 times a day. It's heavy and has plenty of killer grooves that have me knodding my head from the beginning to the end of the CD. The only bad thing thing about the album is choosing which is my favorite song. I seem to go back and forth between "Freya", "Iron Swan", and "Lament for the Aurochs", but they are all so fucking good. The breakdowns in each of the 9 songs puts a big grin on my face. This is a definite must buy.
